It seems like it has been forever since I last updated this page. Facebook has been having a go at me for it being so long since I last posted, but here is the reason why:
A few things have happened that have caused me to be quite quiet on the whole social media part of my life! I've been fighting a really bad kidney/UTI, which took multitudes of antibiotics to get rid of. It's been exhausting and painful, and I've had no energy to do anything, including chatting to my friends. Everything stopped. I fought through the infection that kept me hospitalised, so I knew just like that time, a week after I went down with the next infection, I would come out on top. The antibiotics only stopped on Friday.
My most exciting news came when Auntie Jolly came to stay and with her she has just brought a surge of overwhelming happiness into my life and that of my family! My 92 year old (soon to be 93) great Auntie, who I've not seen for 16 years. She lives up north and then I got ill, so we missed each other. She is the life and soul of the party and is officially my 'Party Auntie'! It has been overwhelming for us both because she never thought she would get to see me in person again. So I've been a teeny bit selfish, I do apologise, but I'm soaking in as much of her as possible whilst she is staying then resting the rest of the time. She doesn't look a day past 70! One incredibly inspiring lady that we all love greatly.
The picture I'm showing is what I would call the definition of love. I'm so very grateful for this moment.
