It was incredible seeing how much everyone on social media really got behind the book and kept voting. Your support means everything. I wrote this book because I believed it was a story that needed to be told. A Girl Behind Dark Glasses is just one story, in the vast world of severe M.E. They are the hidden voices of society and struggle to be seen let alone heard.
Only as I began to edit Dark Glasses did I fully realise what I had been through and how it has affected me even today.
